I had an issue with the rear brakes in my truck, Tom was able to fit me in right away.the Work was done quick, he repaired the rear brakes and I had my truck back in no time. I'll definitely be back for all my maintenances and repairs.

My family and I have been using Universal auto for years. They are all stand up guys and will not try to upsell you on anything. If they say that you need something done on your car, you can take it to the bank that you need it done.

Amazing! It is so rare to experience excellence. One year ago I purchased a used Lexus SUV here. It has been impeccable. I showed up hours after the add was posted to put a down payment. Good thing I did, because they had other offers for thousands more than they were asking. Some dealers would have accepted those higher offers, but because I was first, they did the right thing and told those people that the car had been sold. After that I pointed out that the car had several small issues (TPM, A/C), and they fixed those issues per their policy. Amazing. I searched the entire country for a specific model of vehicle, it had to have specific features, had to be rust free, and in good condition. I did not expect to find it in my back yard, lol. It appears that these guys (Andrey I'm nodding to you) have great taste and knack to be able to find these great vehicles. They did an amazing job detailing the car, and they performed the important maintenance items (timing chain and water pump) before listing it for sale. I would not hesitate to take a car here for service as the guys in the shop were very good, and pleasant to deal with. I would also not hesitate to buy another used car here. The transaction process was very easy, and they were able to get the paperwork done very fast so I had plates. I needed to take the car on a road trip, and they were able to get everything done quickly so that I could have the car. After a year of owning the car I have had no issues, and continue to be impressed with the value of the vehicle I purchased. Thank you guys and keep it up.

We live in Portland Oregon and had been searching for a low mileage Land Rover LR3 for a very long time. Our intention is to modify it somewhat and use it extensively in our retirement for long off-road overland trips. When searching the internet my wife found that Universal had a 2008 model with ~49,000 miles which was also well priced. Having searched extensively and having viewed many local models that fell very short of the dealers descriptions and were over-priced we were really rather skeptical and nervous of purchasing from a second hand car dealer clear across the other side of the continent. Without going into too much detail, this could not have been a better experience for us. Andrey, was very responsive and reassuring and always dead straight with us. He arranged for a vehicle inspection by a local independent mechanic and immediately had repairs made based on the mechanics report which included changing control arms. All this without question and without changing price even though he had already agreed to discount the purchase price. Additionally, Andrey made paperwork simple and Fed-Ex'd paperwork to us on a couple of occasions even once we had arrived back in Oregon and had to make some paperwork 'tweaks' so we could register the vehicle in Oregon. Long story short, we took a red eye flight to Boston and an Uber to Ashland. Andrey had left the key hidden for us and we collected the car at about 6:00 Am in the morning and then started the drive to Oregon via our sons wedding in Colorado? The car was spotlessly clean, and Andrey had even filled the gas tank to the top. The car met all our hopes and drove flawlessly the 3,800 miles back to Oregon. We could not have been more delighted. Our thanks go to Andrey and the workshop for taking such good care of us. We cannot speak highly enough of them and their business integrity. We just wish they were our local garage here in Oregon. BMW drivers! Moving to Ashland with a German car, I was skeptical about who to service her. I drove by Universal Auto and noticed they had BMW’s in the lot and knew I was in luck! Don’t pay the $$$$ at the dealer! I’ve trusted them for 4 years and couldn’t be happier. Fair prices, great customer service and honest work.

Everyone needs a mechanic they can trust. I've been using Universal Auto for years. They take great care of my 2007 Honda, and never try to sell me any service I don't need. You will not be disappointed. It's good to know good people!

Do not hesitate to buy a car from these people. I came here because of reviews. I always buy used cars and I will definitely buy again from here. They are the easiest, most pleasant people to deal with. Cars are in great condition. After we bought our car we got it inspected. Although it passed inspection , our mechanic heard a noise on test driving it and suspected it was wheel bearings. I contacted them and without any issues Andrey and Kevin took care of it . Very trustworthy and respectable people . Please dont hesitate to buy or have service from them .
